Luxury Products Group is excited to announce the addition of Peter Ollestad to the team as director of business development. In this role, Peter will help focus on relationships in the vendor community as well as work with exclusive brands. Peter comes to us from Strasser Industries and has experience from working at Kohler and Crosswater as well. We are thrilled to have him on the team.
Lots of other news in the decorative world as well. Our membership has grown by six new members since January, and we have added some exiting new vendors:
Quare (quaresdesign.com) offers elegant and designer bathroom decoration solutions (shower trays, wall panels, countertops). They are specialists in solid surface products, manufactured in Spain. The company’s specialty is tailor-made products, and it differentiates with unique textures and large products. Given the versatility of the products, they fit into both hotel and residential projects, new construction and renovation.
Deltana (www.deltana.net) is the architectural hardware manufacturer with a proven record for exceptional service and quality. Deltana inventories America’s largest selection of architectural and door hardware in more than nine fine finishes made from solid brass, zinc, aluminum, steel and stainless steel.
Deco & Deco (www.decondeco.com) is a designer’s source for premium drapery hardware, cabinet hardware, door hardware and bathroom accessories for luxury commercial, retail and residential projects—providing the finishing touches that make all the difference.
Thermasol (www.thermasol.com) is the original steam shower manufacturer. Led by three generations of Altmans, Thermasol is known for redefining the modern steam shower experience through a pioneering combination of technology and engineering expertise. The company also features sauna and showering technology that is unparalleled.
DLINE offers stainless hardware solutions to the group, and is represented by Sarah Jenkinson of Barber Wilsons/Sterlingham.
LPG continues to modify its line card and vendor partners to meet the ever-changing needs of our membership and create a compelling list to attract new members and maintain a solid financial plan.
Our Destination Showroom program continues to grow, with 21 more members gaining entry into the group for 2023. This program features members who work with 25 or more vendor partners and gives them a separate feature on the LPG website and additional marketing collateral/recognition within the group. It demonstrates that their commitment to LPG does not go unnoticed, and our vendor partners easily see which showrooms are willing to work within the spirit of the group.
For 2023, LPG is pushing hard on growing the lighting and hardware segments of the line card, and plans on building membership around those categories as the lines expand. LPG is reducing the barriers of entry for those members and vendors to help add a more diverse group of partners and grow. The challenges in hardware and lighting showrooms are the same as a traditional bath and kitchen showroom, so it makes sense to have them join us on the journey.
LPG has expanded its subcommittees and added groups for boutique showrooms, marketing, Winsupply and two vendor groups. This helps bring boots-on-the-ground awareness to trends and issues—and improves our networking. As the economy offers uncertainty, it helps to maintain contact with our partners and make sure we are all aware of what is happening in the marketplace.
I hope you all have a safe and healthy summer—take that well-deserved break and celebrate times with your family and friends. Thank you for being part of this wonderful group.
