New Telescoping Meter Flange Ball Valve, Adapter
A.Y. McDonald recently introduced the Telescoping 1 1/2" Meter Flange ball valve and the 7E610 Telescoping 2" Meter Flange x FNPT adapter. Thanks to a movable meter flange, an extra 1/4" of space becomes available making meter installation and replacement easier than ever.
The basic specs for the telescoping flange valves are the same as their fixed flange counterparts—7E4604B 1 1/2" matches 74604B 1 1/2" and 7E6101MW 1 1/2" matches 76101MW 1 1/2".
Two internal EPDM O-rings seal the telescoping flange to the valve body. Four 304 stainless steel shoulder bolts retain the flange at full extension, guide the telescoping action and contribute to a robust design. The 1/4" of fl ange retraction provides a solution for difficult meter and gasket installation and a flip-down spacer ensures full extension of the flange when setting or inspecting meter spacing.

PRIER Introduces New Shipping Supervisor
PRIER recently introduced Roger Dunham as its new shipping supervisor.
Throughout his 18 years of warehouse and operations management, and more recently five years of running his own mobile vehicle detailing business, Dunham brings a deep understanding of how to manage the many moving parts of PRIER’s shipping team. His 25 years of coaching youth sports has shaped his leadership style.
“Roger is a natural born leader who cares deeply about his team. He possesses a world class work ethic and comes to work every day with a great attitude and a smile on his face,” said Chris Poskin, supply chain manager.
As the heartbeat of shipping operations, Dunham manages the highest of priorities while ensuring even the smallest orders are sent out on time. The pressure to deliver on our eight business hour shipping guarantee can be a challenge on a normal day, and even more so during the warmer months when customers are fighting to keep product on the shelves.
“Roger was thrown right into the fire of PRIER’s peak season, but he did not waiver,” said Poskin. “He has quickly established a positive work environment that is centered around servicing our customers while having fun and building team chemistry”.
Dunham brings the same level of passion for his work to Kansas City sports as well as the youth teams he coaches. He enjoys the quiet country life of Cleveland, Missouri with his wife and two sons, and loves nothing more than spending a day with them cheering on his favorite teams.
“I came to PRIER because I fell in love with the culture and the mission statement during the interview process,” he said.
