In just six years, Fuse Specialty Appliances has become one of Florida’s fastest-growing providers of luxury appliances and plumbing — an achievement driven by strategic leadership, rapid expansion and an unwavering commitment to customer experience. What began as a boutique startup is now the state’s largest independently owned dealer specializing in premium and luxury brands, recognized for exceptional service and a strong partnership-driven culture.

A Rapidly Expanding Footprint Across Florida

Fuse’s growth trajectory has been extraordinary. Managing partners Alexa Warner, Mike Robertson and Tim Brohawn opened the first boutique showroom in Fort Lauderdale in 2019, followed by Naples later that year. From there, expansion accelerated.

What began as a focused boutique experience quickly gained momentum. By 2020, Fuse expanded north with the opening of its North Palm Beach showroom, deepening its presence along Florida’s east coast and reinforcing its reputation for a more personal, design-driven approach to luxury appliances.

As demand continued to grow, Fuse stepped confidently into Miami’s competitive luxury market in 2021 and introduced its first centralized warehouse—an early signal of the infrastructure needed to support what was becoming a rapidly expanding footprint. Growth soon followed on Florida’s west coast, first with an additional warehouse and then a move in 2022 to a larger Deerfield distribution center designed to support increasing volume without compromising service.

In 2024, Fuse reached another major milestone with the openings of its Boca Raton and Fort Myers showrooms, further strengthening its footprint across the state. The following year marked a pivotal evolution as Fuse expanded beyond appliances with the launch of plumbing divisions in Boca Raton, North Palm Beach and Naples, alongside the opening of a new Sarasota showroom.

“With seven luxury appliance showrooms and three plumbing showrooms across the southern half of Florida, our footprint has expanded at nearly a showroom a year since we launched,” says Director of Plumbing Mindy Sobczak.

Today, Fuse Specialty Appliances is powered by a team of more than 215 employees and a seasoned leadership group spanning operations, logistics, service and sales. “Our growth has been intentional,” adds Director of Marketing & Sales Julia Roberto. “As we continue to scale, our focus remains on our people, our partners and delivering the levated experience that has defined Fuse from the beginning.”

“Our service concierge team steps in when anything goes wrong with a product. We coordinate with manufacturers and simplify the service process, so customers get resolutions as quickly as possible,” says Robertson.

“To date we’ve contributed more than $100,000 to organizations such as Place of Hope, Boca Regional Hospital, Toys for Tots, Breast Cancer awareness groups and the Children’s Cancer Society,” Roberto explains. “This commitment to giving back is driven by our managing partners and carried throughout the entire organization.”

Plumbing: A Significant Growth Opportunity for 2026

Plumbing—Fuse’s newest division—is poised to become a major growth driver.

“Even though it’s a new category for us, customers increasingly want a single partner for both appliances and plumbing, and we’re ready to deliver that,” says Sobczak.

Fuse’s plumbing expansion is strengthened by its membership in Luxury Products Group (LPG).

“We joined LPG after researching several groups. Its vendor partnerships aligned perfectly with the brands we wanted to work with,” Sobczak explains.

LPG has already proven invaluable.

“The LPG portal has been a tremendous resource, from training to promotions to access to private-label opportunities,” she notes. “Peter and the LPG team have been instrumental in helping us connect directly with key vendors and secure relationships that support our rapid expansion.”

Among Fuse’s notable LPG vendor partners are House of Rohl, Brizo, Mr. Steam, Icera, Franke, Thermasol, Insinkerator, Maidstone, Blanco, Infinity Drain and more. Additional partnerships are anticipated as the company continues to grow.

Technology adoption is another strategic focus for Fuse.

“We’ve been investing in software and digital tools to make it easier for both homeowners and trade partners to explore our brands, check product availability and connect with us online,” says Roberto.

These upgrades enhance efficiency while elevating the customer experience, making Fuse both high-tech and high touch.
