Economy Plumbing & Heating Supply
and Boston Bath Built on a Foundation
of Honesty, Integrity and Service

A family owned and operated, single location plumbing & heating supply shop located in Boston, Massachusetts, Economy Plumbing & Heating Supply Co. was founded by five brothers in 1993.

Founded in a 20,000-square-foot warehouse in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, the company has grown into a 225,000-square-foot warehouse in Mattapan operated by both the brothers and the next generation of business owners.

With more than four acres of storage space at its Mattapan location, Economy Plumbing & Heating Supply is fully equipped to handle and ship any order. “Every day we help and service small, midsize and large commercial contractors while at the same time assisting regular homeowners for all their plumbing, heating, HVAC and piping needs,” said Steven Conneen, luxury plumbing and HVAC sales/estimator, Boston Bath, which is the company’s showroom. “Even as we have grown, our values and mottos of honesty, integrity and service still resonate in our daily lives.”

Boston Bath is the bath, kitchen, lighting and vanity showroom for Economy Plumbing & Heating Supply. Featuring a growing and expansive display area of the most popular kitchen and bath products and backed by one of New England’s largest plumbing and heating inventories, this showroom is a one-stop shop. “Our industry experts are here to help customers find the best products for their bathroom or kitchen projects,” Conneen said. “We offer the highest quality products for every budget.”

The showroom’s client base is comprehensive and serves trade plumbers who work on residential and commercial projects as well as mechanical contractors, builders and remodelers. In the past year and half, the company has made a concerted effort to serve the interior design and luxury residential communities.

Plumbing, PVF, HVAC products as well as full lines of heating and water equipment and underground utility pipe line the warehouse shelves. The company also carries plumbing for bathrooms and kitchens, cabinetry, countertops, indoor and outdoor lighting and water filtration systems.

“We cater to everyone—house flippers, local remodelers, smaller size builder outfits with one or two houses, luxury builders with subdivisions and we cater to plumbing trade contractors who do business with us,” Conneen said.

Recent developments at the business include the realignment of the showroom to focus on brands that are mutually supportive of the trades, offering trade show programs, exclusive products and marketing endeavors for distributors.

IMARK membership has its benefits including rebates and supplier partnerships. “And the same goes for the Luxury Products Group (LPG) side of things as well,” Conneen said.

When asked what makes the company unique, Conneen said: “The five brothers who founded the business created an incredible family atmosphere here. The 50-60 employees who work here are very much an extension of my family. When owners care deeply, it shows.”
